A blue and white ticked dog owned by Mr. H. H. Walker of Huddersfield. Born on 01/10/1947, by Verdict of Wem and Happy Melody.

The show was held at Damer Schools, St. Stpehens Green on Saturday, 15/04/1950, with 280 Class entries. The Judge: Dr. Ester Rickards.



Miss D. M. Fagan took the Reserve with her light Blue Roan bitch, Lick Bla Blotto. Born 24/01/1948, by Capers and Lick Bla Bella.





1951

Joywyns Blue Boy of Ware

A blue roan dog owned by Mr. Herbert Summers Lloyd of Middlesex. Born on 04/07/1949, by Fantee Silver Sentinel and Cartref Charmer.

The show was held at Griffith Barracks on Saturday, 14/04/1951, with 248 Class entries. The Judge: Mr. Jimmy Auld (Glencora).



The Reserve best in show went to Mrs. B. H. Montgomery's bitch Barbary Briony.





1952

Lymas Mustang

A blue roan and tan dog, owned by Mr. J. Duncan, Newtown Park, Saintfield Road, Belfast. Born on 16/07/1947, by Colinwood Roughrider and Riclar Clematis

The show was held on Saturday, 19/04/1952, with 217 Class entries.



Mrs. B. H. Montgomery from Kilmer, Hill of Down, Co. Meath took Reserve BIS for the second year running with her bitch Barbary Pandora of Fasseroe.





1953

Oracle of Akron

A blue roan dog, born 28/05/1950, owned by Mr. J. C. Spiller of Akron Lodge, Rathfarnham. By Falconers Solomon of Ware and Ardent Connie.

The show was held in Damer Schools on Saturday, 18/04/1953 with 70 Cockers entered. Judge: Mr. H. J. Eakers (Gulval)attended again with his wife and granddaughter.



The Reserve went to Belfast with Mr Tommy Forster and his bitch Asheux Whizz Bang.





1954

Innisfayle Beauty

A black and white bitch owned by Ms. M. E. Davenport, bred by Mr. J. Brewer on 30/03/1951 of Lymas Mustang and Empress of Eyre.

The show was held on Saturday, 03/04/1954 at Damer Schools.Judge: Mrs. Judy de Casembroot (Treetops).



Dr. V. J. O'Doherty took Reserve with bitch Panda of Marvin.





1955

Crofthills Cascade

Mr. J. Duncan, Belfast won Best in show with his blue roan bitch. Bred by Mrs. M. Mather on 13/06/1953. From Joywyns Blue Boy of Ware and Crofthills Carnival.

The show was held at the newly named Damer Hall , St. Stpehens Green on Saturday, 16/04/1955, with 192 Class entries. Judge Capt. R. George (Nenevalley).



Diogenes of Marvin A blue roan dog, registered as Diogenes of Vinmar in the UK, owned by Dr. V. J. O'Doherty, born 12/07/1953, from Joywyns Blue Boy of Ware and Panda of Marvin took reserve.





1956

Lick Bla Betsy

A blue roan bitch, owned by Ms D. M. Fagan of Castlepollard. From Waterworth Bidar and Lick Bla Binge.

The show was held at the Town Hall, Dun Laoghaire on Saturday, 14/04/1956, with 129 Class entries. There were no English entries as the Cheshire Championship show was held the same day. Judge Mrs. E. Digby Ovens (Chayn).



Dr. V. J. O'Doherty again took Reserve with a blue roan dog Pompey of Marvin shown by Mrs. O'Doherty.





1957

Springbank Trudy

Another black and white bitch to take the title, owned by Mrs. Margo Dean, Navan, Co. Meath. by Springbank Marquis of Bromwyn and Springbank Tessina. Born on 05/01/1951.

The show was held in conjunction with the Monkstown Championship Show, on Bank Holiday Monday, 05/08/1957. Judge Mrs Kershaw.



Reserve went to Mrs. Barry's Colinwood Cracksman of Charmace.





1958

Lick Bla Buff

An orange roan dog, owned by Ms. D. M. Fagan. Born 20/06/1955 of Chayn Janitor and Lick Bla Betsy.

The show was held at St. George's School, Lower Sherrard Street, Dublin on Saturday, 26/04/1958, with over 170 Class entries. Judge: Mrs. Judy de Casembroot (Treetops).



Miss. S. D. Salley won Reserve with her bitch Wicklow Hills Lass.





1959

Black Nel

A black bitch owned by Mrs. P. Lowrey.

The show was held inside St. George's School, on a wet Saturday, 25/04/1959, with 69 cockers entried. Judge: Mr. Ron Bebb (Ronfil).



Mr. L. J. Connolly's dog Roxley Review was Reserve.
