Welcome

Founded in 1929, this is the homepage of the parent club of the English Cocker Spaniel breed in Ireland.

The Club is a specialist breed club. Its objectives are to promote the English Cocker Spaniel breed, to promote responsible dog ownership including keeping, welfare, breeding, selling and disposing of dogs by associate members that are accepted for registration by the Irish kennel club and who are resident in Ireland.

To urge the adoption of such types of breeders and judges etc., to establish Field Trials, to offer prizes at shows, and to adopt such other means as may be deemed advisable for the betterment of the breed.

A Greeting from our President

I would like to welcome everyone who visits this site and invite you to have a look around the various sections on offer.

Ireland has a long association with the breed and has contributed many fine dogs that feature in the pedigrees of the modern Cocker Spaniel.

We hope this site offers a glimpse into this world we share with our merry little cockers.
